I have often wondered what I might look like as a Platypuss,
drawing a self portrait on a Post-it note, while I should be working instead.

Here's a character line up I designed for a new project at work.
Every now and then they give a little freedom to come up with concepts I think might be cool.
So far, I'm having a blast working on something that's 100% mine.
Well... 100% created by me, but unfortunately not 100% owned by me.
In a way, the idea that I'll never own it, always motivates me to work harder on my own personal projects.
But I won't get into that or else I'll start writing about my bitterness in
"working for the man" instead of myself.
No matter. It's nice when work is fun, so I'm grateful.

I love this picture. It makes me laugh every time I look at it.

It almost makes me laugh as much as I laughed while I was making this animation.

I was in Vancouver last week and I got my hands on a few

copies of Space Jet, a comic done by Mike Myhre, and guests.
(I still owe ya some cash, Mike!)
I really liked them, so I did a few drawings of some
of the more memorable characters they drew.
The comic is hilarious, bizarre and should be checked out by all.

Saw an A&E Documentary on Superman last night.
I really liked the stuff about George Reeves.
I drew this one from memory today, so I'm not sure if this really looks like him er not.
I still kinda like it though.

The biker sketch was done after my project lead told me about something that disturbed her two daughters from the back of their car, this sunny weekend.
...Damn speedo-wearing old people.

This is one of my good pals's Al, holding an empty version of one of his favorite things.
He once lent me 1000 dollars for rent. I took forever to pay him back and he never complained once. Nor did he pop my head off with his bicep.
As well, he also at one time, let me crash at his place for a month. Which was awesome because he owned a lot of dvd's I'd never seen, and a lot of comics, I'd never read.
Good friends can be tuff to come by these days.

Here's an old drawing of my good buddy, Nathan, saying hello.
He hooked me up with a great job once, and in return I massacred him in this caricature.
He's not half the Ugmo MacUglison that this picture depicts, but alas, I find this way funnier.

Once, I was in Vancouver and I overheard this security guard complaining about his feet.
Later, I rode the Skytrain to train station where I overheard a woman complaining about her heels.
I drew this a half hour later.
...Peripheral hearing is a gift.
